The other aspect of comparing them is, of course, music quality. of Apple Music is in much better shape now. Now, time has passed, and both platforms improved themselves. Of course, the idea of everything you have done in the app is being tracked down may sound frightening, but when you think about it, they don’t track your very-personal data except location, which can be disabled by the device you use. The success rate should be much higher in Spotify if the system works as planned. That is, for me, Spotify’s secret weapon because, in Apple Music, you can only discover new artists by searching or listening to human-created playlists. The plus side of this is, it can recommend something you haven’t heard of which you may most probably like it. What music you listened to, what music you skipped, which playlists you created, and even your location. It tracks everything you have done in the Spotify app. All the content are curated by your listening habits. What it does was create a unique home screen based on each user. System called BaRT (Bandits for Recommendations as Treatments). Spotify took one more step and wanted to personalize each user’s home screen. That is how the Weekly Discover playlist has born. While Apple Music was using professionals to curate the lists, Spotify wanted to use its software and create personalized playlists. While those were happening in the Apple Music side, Spotify took a different approach and worked on its software. In the first month, I canceled my subscription and kept using Spotify. should have been exaggerated, but it was not. When introduced, I had to try it because I believed critics about the U.I. However, it's User-Interface was horrible. There were great features such as Beats 1 radio and human curated playlists. It was a long waited product by many, and the first impressions were not that good. Couple of years later, in 2015, Apple Music was introduced. I have been using Spotify for a couple of years now. Now, before I start, I have used both Spotify and Apple Music and will share my experiences with using both of them.
